6th meeting of Joint Working Group on Gwadar agrees to advance work on CPEC projects

The sixth meeting of the Joint Working Group on Gwadar under CPEC was held online. The opening remarks from Pakistani side were given by Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Secretary, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives while from the Chinese side, Mr. Ying Xiong, Group Leader for Public Affairs Coordination Group, which is the Leading Group Office on Construction of the Belt and Road, National Development and Reform Commission, gave the opening remarks. The meeting was attended by leading Chinese enterprises working in Gwadar who gave presentations on various CPEC projects in Gwadar. Both sides agreed to further expedite work on the projects and discussed several proposals to cement the CPEC cooperation.
