China-Pakistan discuss an action plan to expedite ML-1 railway project under CPEC

ML-1 Railway Line, with an estimated cost of $8.2 billion, is the dubbed as the backbone of CPEC and a flagship project of Pakistan Railway. Touching on the wide scope of ML-1, China and Pakistan have prioritized the timely completion of this mega rail project under CPEC. Chairman CPEC authority Gen (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa held a meeting with Ambassador Yao Jing and delegation of China Railway Group separately for updates on ML-1. They have discussed and evaluated the framework of ‘action plan’ by concerned ministries on both sides to expedite the development of ML-1 project.
