Gwadar port operations boosting transport business & local employment
Chairman CPEC authority Lt. General ® Asim Saleem Bajwa has informed that a ship carrying 17000 tons of DAP fertilizer has arrived at Gwadar. Sixty percent of fertilizers are being transported to Afghanistan on 550 trucks through Chamman. Chairman further underlined that for the first time bagging of bulk cargo has been done locally instead of foreign ports. Gwadar port operations have generated employment opportunities for locals and enhanced transportation business.

Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa in a tweet said transportation of fertilizer to Afghanistan through Chaman crossing has also started.
He said that for the first time bagging of bulk cargo has been done locally instead of foreign port.
Asim Sleem Bajwa said this development will generate employment opportunities for local people besides boosting transport business.
