PM to witness signing of Rashakai SEZ development agreement next week.
Rashakai Special Economic Zone located near M-1 Nowshera, to be established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) under CPEC. In major development, Prime Minister Imran Khan will witness the much awaited signing of its development agreement next week. The 1000 acres land of SEZ will be developed in three phases. The total area designated for Industrial use is 702 acres and as per Federal Regulations, of which 159 acres will be developed in Phase I, 279 acres in phase II and subsequently 264 acres in Phase III. For commercial use, an area of 76 acres has been allocated. The SEZ to host key industries including Garment and Textile Products, Home Building Materials, General Merchandize, Electronics and Electrical Appliances, Automobile and Mechanical Equipment.
