Chinese envoy and Chairman BOI discuss industrial cooperation under CPEC

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Nong Rong and Chairman Board of Investment Atif R Bokhari held a meeting and discussed industrial cooperation, government-to-government cooperation, and people-to-people linkages. Chairman BOI said that Pakistan and China are working to make CPEC phase two successful by encouraging quality investment. He apprised the Ambassador of the Draft Framework Agreement on Industrial Cooperation (IC) under CPEC. Ambassador Nong Rong expressed that he gives utmost importance to the “Draft Framework Agreement” & will push it forward to the relevant departments in China. During the meeting, both sides welcomed third party participation in CPEC.
