CPEC under BRI revolves around socio-economic prosperity and connectivity: Haque
Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Moin-ul-Haque, in an interview with Xinhua net hinted at increased connectivity and the dawn of socio-economic prosperity in Pakistan and the whole region after completion of the demonstration project of Belt and Road Initiative i.e CPEC. He said under this phase, Pakistan is rapidly industrializing remote areas which are creating jobs and will help alleviate poverty. Moreover, he said BRI is in accordance with the people-centric policies of the government of Pakistan.
Pakistan Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque has said the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will help create linkages with the neighboring countries and bring more prosperity to the region.
In an interview with Xinhuanet, he said in the second phase of the CPEC, the country is developing remote and underdeveloped area through industrialization, social economic progress and poverty alleviation.
Terming the Belt and Road Initiative as a visionary project he said the basic philosophy of BRI is development, economic prosperity, social progress, creating jobs and the connectivity.
He said all this project of BRI are aligned with the vision of the government of Pakistan, which had people centric.
