University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Xinjiang Agricultural University ink MoU

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Xinjiang Agricultural University in China have inked an MoU for further strengthening educational and academic ties, in an online conference. Present at the ceremony was UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anas Sarwar Qureshi and Xinjiang Agricultural University China President Dr Jinag Ping’an. Both professors apprised the audience about the importance of ensuring people-to-people connectivity under CPEC.

FAISALABAD – The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Xinjiang Agricultural University China inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for further strengthening educational and academic ties. The MoU was inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anas Sarwar Qureshi and Xinjiang Agricultural University China President Dr Jinag Ping’an during online meeting on the eve of 70 years diplomatic Pak-China ties and 7 years ties of both universities. Dr Jinag Ping’an said that China and Pakistan were enjoying deep and time-tested relations that were being further strengthened to get benefit from each others experiences. He added that people of China and Pakistan were like brothers who were enjoying long lasting ties. He said that Confucius Institute (CI) at UAF was helping bringing both nations closer to each other. He said that different courses relating to language, culture and others were being offered at the CI in order to help the students to pursue their further studies in China. He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a hallmark step towards the uplift and prosperity.
