FM Qureshi, Wang Yi to hold joint press conference
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is on a two-day visit to China to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the bilateral talks in Chengdu city of Sichuan province. After the delegation-level talks, FM Qureshi and Foreign Minister for the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi will hold a joint press conference. Moreover, FM Qureshi will hold high-level meeting with important personalities as well. Before his departure, in a video message, FM Qureshi said that the 70-years’ old Pakistan-China friendship has emerged as a strong strategic partnership.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has arrived in China to lead Pakistan delegation at the bilateral talks to be held in Chengdu city of Sichuan province.
During the talks, matters relating to bilateral relations, cooperation in diverse areas, progress on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects and promotion of cooperation in the fields of defense and security will be discussed.
The issues of mutual interest including the regional situation will also be discussed.
The Foreign Minister and his Chinese counterpart will also hold a joint press conference after the delegation level talks.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Qureshi will hold meetings with important personalities including Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
