Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurates CPEC project Matiari-Lahore Transmission Line, terms it efficient transmission project

While addressing the inauguration ceremony of Matiari-Lahore Transmission Line, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the project was launched in 2013, and ever since being incorporated as a CPEC project, it has witnessed rapid development. He also mentioned that the 880 km transmission line from Matiari to Lahore, will help protect against transmission losses, as this transmission line only incurs 4% line losses. He also termed that the CPEC is a flagship project of BRI, which has seen continuous development despite the coronavirus pandemic. He also said that CPEC will pave way for rapid industrialization in the country to kickstart economy.
