China, Pakistan to boost B2B cooperation: Zhao Shiren
During his visit to the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), China’s Consul General to Lahore Zhao Shiren discussed several areas for further collaboration between the two sides. Zhao praised the past and current industries secretaries for their efforts in pushing the migration of labor-intensive companies from China to Punjab by leveraging a robust network of Special Economic Zones in both the public and private sectors across the province. He promised full assistance and other measures to entice Chinese investors to migrate to Punjab and develop collaborations with local investors. Other areas of bilateral cooperation, such as visa facilitation for Pakistani businesspeople, were also discussed.
Pakistan and China are set to enhance collaboration for rapid industrialisation in Punjab, especially for encouraging B2B engagement between Chinese investors and their local counterparts.

He assured complete support and other steps to encourage Chinese investors to relocate to Punjab and form partnerships with the local investors.
Other areas of mutual collaboration including visa facilitation for Pakistani businessmen also came up for discussion.
