Sino-Pak relationship is time-tested and timeless: Analysts

According to analysts, the relationship between Pakistan and China is strong and enduring, with China consistently supporting Pakistan in difficult times. They noted that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has the potential to significantly boost the economic and social development of the region. Furthermore, the analysts highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including trade, energy, and defense.

Masood Khalid ( Former Ambassador): Xi Jinping was unanimously elected president of the People’s Republic of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission of the PRC on Friday at the ongoing session of the 14th National People’s Congress.  China’s Communist party has given a signal to the world that it is united. As far as bilateral relations between China and Pakistan are concerned, Xi Jinping’s re-election as a President is a good development for Pakistan. China has proved itself a time tested friend of Pakistan. China and Pakistan are iron brothers. During the leadership of Xi Jinping , several development projects in Pakistan were initiated including a flagship program  China Pakistan Economic Corridor( CPEC).

The leadership of both countries is committed to taking this relationship forward.  During the regime of Xi Jinping , China  initiated very important projects in diverse fields which will prove a milestone in the development of Pakistan. Pakistan and China have always supported each other at different international forums. It is high time to further strengthen bilateral relations, particularly, in the fields of Agriculture, Industry and Technology.
