PM Kakar leaves for China today to attend Belt and Road Forum
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar is embarking on a four-day visit to China to participate in the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, starting on October 17. He will attend the opening ceremony, address a high-level forum on global connectivity, and hold bilateral meetings with Chinese leaders and other participants. The Prime Minister will emphasize the achievements and future priorities of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and reinforce Pakistan’s commitment to its high-quality development. He will also engage with Chinese entrepreneurs to boost bilateral trade and investment and visit Urumqi to enhance trade, investment, and people-to-people relations, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the CPEC project.
Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will leave for China today(Monday) on a four-day visit.
The prime minister will participate in the third Belt and Road Forum to be held in Beijing on October 17 and 18.
In this regard, the caretaker prime minister will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, investors, and businessmen.
It should be noted that the Caretaker Federal Minister of Commerce Gohar Ijaz has reached China to participate in the Belt and Road Forum.
