Caretaker Prime Minister discusses fruitful China visit: 20 MoUs signed for economic growth
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, following his recent visit to China, expressed optimism that the Chinese investment expected from the signing of 20 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) would stimulate Pakistan’s economic growth. He emphasized the need for consistency in policies and principles of coordination, cooperation, and consultation in relations with China. Kakar also highlighted Chinese private business entities’ plans to invest in Pakistan’s agriculture, mining, and other sectors as part of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). During the visit, he discussed various matters, including media collaboration, the situation in Gaza, upcoming elections, and the improving economic landscape.
