Punjab Chief Minister acknowledges China’s construction projects, welcomes further cooperation
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed appreciation for the strong friendship between Pakistan and China while emphasizing the potential for further enhancing economic ties. During a meeting with China State Construction Engineering Corporation’s Chairman Wang Yaobong, she highlighted opportunities for collaboration in agriculture, IT, and environmental protection, welcoming China’s cooperation. Sharif praised CSCEC’s construction projects in Punjab, such as the Arfa Karim IT Tower in Lahore, and lauded China’s one-window operation system for investment promotion. She affirmed Punjab’s full cooperation for timely completion of CPEC projects, aiming to boost employment opportunities and exports.
