Pakistan, China to hold key talks in Beijing on May 15

Pakistan and China are set to hold significant strategic talks in Beijing on May 15. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will lead a high-level delegation to Beijing, where formal discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s delegation will take place. This visit marks the first high-level engagement between Pakistan and China since the new government took office following the February 8 elections. The agenda includes discussions on bilateral relations, security cooperation, economic partnership, regional security issues such as Afghanistan and Gaza, and the proposed visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China.

Pakistan and China will hold important strategic talks in Beijing on May 15.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dara will go to Beijing with a high-level delegation.

Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will lead their respective delegations wherein formal talks between Pakistan and China will be held on May 15 in Beijing.

This will be the first high-level visit to China by Pakistan after the establishment of the current government that was sworn in after winning the February 8 elections.

Both sides to discuss further development of bilateral relations, security cooperation, and economic partnership.

SAMAA TV reported security in the region, Afghanistan, Gaza, and other issues will be discussed.

The proposed visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China will be discussed.
