Chinese Premier Terms Sino-Pak Relations Core National Interest, Both Leaders witnessed the signing of various MoUs
A bilateral meeting was held between Prime Minister Khan and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang at Great Hall where both parties have agreed to increase the deeper than the ocean friendship, boost mutual trade and explore new avenues of cooperation. They also reviewed the partnership in various sectors such as railways, steel, oil and gas, and science and technology. Khan highlighted “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between two nations and called it vital for the best interests of both countries and their people. Khan said the strategic cooperative partnership between two states have resulted in peace, stability and development in the region. Khan reaffirmed his government’s resolve to complete CPEC projects and informed Chinese Premier on initiatives taken to expedite work on CPEC projects. Premier Li Keqiang restated Chinese support to Pakistan and termed it as fundamental national interest of China. Both leaders witnessed the signing of many MoUs to expand bilateral ties in the socio-economic fields.
