Pakistan reaffirms commitment to strengthen development cooperation with China under Belt and Road framework
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing development cooperation with China under the Belt and Road and Global Development Initiatives during a meeting with Luo Zhaohui, Director of China International Development Cooperation Agency, in Kunming. He praised China’s platform for regional collaboration and leadership in advancing the blue economy, while Luo highlighted strong bilateral ties, leadership consensus, and Pakistan’s active participation in the forum over the past three years.
Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen development cooperation with China in various fields under the frame work of Belt and Road and Global Development Initiatives.
He was talking to Director of China International Development Cooperation Agency, Luo Zhaohui in Kunming, China.
Planning Minister thanked China for providing a platform for regional countries to exchange experiences and collaborate, and he commended China’s leadership in advancing the development of the blue economy.
Speaking on the occasion, Luo Zhaohui expressed gratitude to Pakistan for consistently sending high-level delegations to China for three consecutive years to attend the forum.
Luo emphasized close contact between two countries’ leaderships and the significant consensus reached.
