PM Shehbaz Sharif visits Anzhen Hospital in Beijing
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Beijing’s Anzhen Hospital, where he reviewed its advanced facilities and praised the administration for efficient systems, modern technology, and excellent services. He directed Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi and the Ministry of Health to adopt a similar model in Pakistan’s under-construction hospitals, especially the Jinnah Medical Complex in Islamabad. Emphasizing Chinese healthcare standards as a benchmark, the Prime Minister stressed the need for simple, sustainable infrastructure and quality medical services. During the visit, he was also briefed on the hospital’s use of modern technologies and robots for effective management.

The Prime Minister directed Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi and the Ministry of Health to ensure the development of simple, robust and sustainable infrastructure similar to Anzhen Hospital in the under-construction projects in Islamabad and particularly at Jinnah Medical Complex and other hospitals.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized prioritizing the provision of quality facilities at hospitals under construction in Pakistan following the model of Chinese healthcare standards.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the facilities available at the Anzhen Hospital.
He was also shown the health facilities available at the hospital, as well as the modern technologies and robots being used for effective hospital management.
