China Launches Fully Funded Veterinary Research Programme for Pakistani Students at Xinjiang Agricultural University
China has announced a 15-day fully funded academic research programme for Pakistani veterinary master’s and PhD students at Xinjiang Agricultural University from November 10–24, 2025. The initiative offers training, field visits, and international academic exchange to strengthen Sino-Pak educational ties.
FAISALABAD – China has offered a fully funded academic research programme for Pakistani veterinary students at Xinjiang Agricultural University (XJAU), the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) announced, according to Gwadar Pro.
Scheduled for November 10–24, 2025, the 15-day programme will host master’s and PhD students from UAF and other Confucius Institute partner universities. Participants will receive full sponsorship, covering accommodation, meals, tuition, and local transportation. Authors of outstanding academic papers will also be awarded round-trip air tickets.
The initiative includes hands-on training, laboratory sessions, field visits, and academic exchanges with students from Uzbekistan and China. Participants will also present their research papers at the 11th XJAU Postgraduate International Academic Forum.
UAF said the programme aims to enhance academic collaboration under Sino-Pak relations, providing Pakistani students with international exposure and opportunities to engage in advanced research.
