Pakistan, China agree to boost counter-terrorism cooperation

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong met Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad to discuss bilateral ties and mutual interests. The ambassador condemned the recent suicide bombing in Islamabad and offered condolences over the loss of lives. Both sides agreed to further strengthen counter-terrorism and security cooperation. Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed that Pakistan-China relations are rooted in mutual trust and respect, while the ambassador emphasized that China will continue its full cooperation and longstanding support for Pakistan.
