President Asif Ali Zardari confers Sitara-i-Pakistan upon Prof. Pan Xiangbin at a special investiture ceremony
President Asif Ali Zardari awarded the Sitara-e-Pakistan to Professor Pan Xiangbin at a ceremony in Changsha, Hunan Province, in recognition of his contributions to cardiac care in Pakistan. During his visit last year, Professor Pan and his team performed life-saving surgeries on children with congenital heart disease and trained Pakistani doctors in advanced techniques, helping strengthen the country’s healthcare capacity and highlighting the practical benefits of Pakistan-China cooperation.
President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred Sitara-e-Pakistan upon Professor Pan Xiangbin in recognition of his outstanding contributions to cardiac care and his services to patients in Pakistan.
The special investiture ceremony was held in Changsha, Hunan Province.
Professor Pan visited Pakistan in January last year, where he and his team performed life-saving procedures on children suffering from congenital heart disease and conducted specialized training for Pakistani medical professionals in advanced interventional techniques.
The President noted that these efforts strengthened Pakistan’s healthcare capacity and reflected the tangible benefits of Pakistan-China cooperation.
