Prime Minister to hold key meetings with Chinese leadership in Beijing today
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to hold meetings in Beijing with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and senior Chinese leaders during his official visit to China. The visit includes delegation-level talks, signing ceremonies for bilateral agreements, meetings with Chinese investors, and participation in events marking 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will spend a busy day in Beijing, China today.
The Prime Minister will meet President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang and senior Chinese leadership.
Upon arrival at the Great Hall of the People, the Prime Minister will be received by his Chinese counterpart and presented with a guard of honor.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Premier Li Qiang will meet at the delegation level. Both leaders will also attend a ceremony for the exchange of memorandums of understanding and agreements between the two countries.
Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation will visit Tiananmen Square to lay a wreath at the Monument to the People’s Heroes.
The Prime Minister will also meet leading Chinese investors and CEOs of Chinese companies.
Shehbaz Sharif, alongside senior Chinese leadership, will attend a ceremony commemorating the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
