China-Pakistan volunteer service team launched to boost youth exchanges program

A China-Pakistan volunteer service team, “China-Pakistan Future · Volunteers Hand in Hand,” was inaugurated in Jinan, Shandong, to strengthen youth exchanges and cross-border philanthropic cooperation. Jointly established by Tongshan Public Welfare and the China-Pakistan Medical Association, the initiative aims to promote cultural exchange and develop regular two-way volunteer services, bringing Chinese and Pakistani youth together for people-to-people cooperation.

A China-Pakistan volunteer service team was inaugurated in Jinan, capital of Shandong
Province, marking a new chapter in bilateral youth exchanges and cross-border philanthropic
cooperation between the two countries.
The “China-Pakistan Future · Volunteers Hand in Hand” service team was jointly established
by Tongshan Public Welfare and the China-Pakistan Medical Association, with support from
the Social Work Department of Changqing District and the District Communist Youth League
Committee, China Economic Net (CEN) reported on Sunday.
The initiative aims to promote cultural exchange between Chinese and Pakistani youth and
explore sustainable models for international volunteer services.
Leveraging Tongshan Public Welfare’s UN special consultative status, the team aims to
establish regular, two-way cross-border volunteer mechanisms that unite youth from both
countries and promote people-to-people philanthropic cooperation between China and
Pakistan.
