SK Hydropower Station hosts event to mark 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties
The Pakistan SK Hydropower Station, a China-invested CPEC project, marked the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, the 10th anniversary of its groundbreaking and the second anniversary of commercial operations. Officials highlighted its contribution to clean energy, energy security, environmental protection and local development, while the project company reaffirmed its commitment to reliable green electricity and sustainable development. The event also featured educational grants for 63 local students over three years and the release of more than 5,000 native fish fry into the Kunhar River to support biodiversity conservation.
