Pakistan, China agree to enhance cooperation in police training exchange programs
Pakistan and China have agreed to strengthen cooperation in police training, modern law-enforcement technology and equipment, including Chinese assistance in establishing a modern Law Enforcement Centre in Pakistan. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in internal security and leveraging China’s AI-based technologies, while the Chinese Vice Minister of Public Security appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices and commitment in combating terrorism.
Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance cooperation in police training exchange programs and in modern technology and equipment. This came at a meeting between Interior Mohsin Naqvi and the Chinese Vice Minister of Public Security in Islamabad. It was also agreed that China would assist Pakistan in establishing a modern Law Enforcement Centre.
Mohsin Naqvi said the Law Enforcement Centre will be another shining symbol of Pakistan-China friendship. He said China’s AI-based technology and modern equipment can greatly help us address security challenges. The Interior Minister said Pakistan desires to further expand cooperation with China in the field of internal security. The Chinese Vice Minister of Public Security praised Pakistan’s sacrifices and firm commitment in the fight against terrorism.
