Digital Custom Clearance System Introduced at Gwadar Port

Gwadar International Terminals Ltd has successfully cleared the first shipment of 30 containers through WeBOC (Web Based One Customs) system on 27 August 2019. WeBOC system is a method of fast-track clearance of goods to minimize parking time at ports to facilitate businesses. This automated Customs clearance system will clear the goods on all Customs stations in Pakistan and before launching it formally at Gwadar port. Enterprises now can file for Online Goods Declaration through an entirely paperless system. With the Gwadar’s operational WeBOC clearance system trade will flourish as goods will reach their destination without the delay of paper clearance.
