CPEC is KPK’s gateway to progress and development

CPEC is opening a window of opportunities for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the natural resource and tourism sectors. KPK government is making efforts to revive its position as a vital pillar for regional trade and commercial endeavours under the ancient silk route. Prominent CPEC projects in KP province, for instance, Suki Kinari hydel project, Raskaki SEZ, Havelian-Thakot Motorway, the newly recommended Swat Expressway II, DI Khan to Peshawar Expressway and the Havelian dry port as part of ML-I project will turbo-charge industrialisation and economic prosperity in the province. KP government acknowledged the Chinese assistance in health care, vocational training, agriculture and clean drinking water areas during the JCC meeting. KP is also going to conduct its Second trade fair in Beijing in 2020 to entice Chinese enterprises for Joint Ventures. Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan and Finance Minister Taimur Jhagra solicited Chinese support in making these goals feasible.
