Air Chief Marshal meets Chinese State Councilor and Defence Minister in Beijing

Pakistan Air Force's Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar called on Chinese State Councilor and Defence Minister, General Wei Fenghe in Beijing. Exchanging views, General Wei Fenghe said China and Pakistan are rare all-weather strategic cooperative partners. He further said that military to military relationship has vital significance in the bilateral ties of both countries. Both sides have decided to work closely to implement the consensus achieved by the leaders of the two countries. They have also agreed for top-level strategic communication to deepen the collaboration and the improved ability to combat security threats and challenges. General Fenghe stated that cooperation is aimed to build a community of shared future for China and Pakistan.

BEIJNG – Chinese State Councilor and Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe met with visiting Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force, in Beijing.

Wei said China and Pakistan are unique all-weather strategic cooperative partners. Military-to-military relations between China and Pakistan are an important pillar of bilateral relations, Chinese media reported Wednesday.

It is hoped that the two sides will work together to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, further strengthen high-level exchanges and strategic communication, enrich and expand practical cooperation, enhance the capacity to deal with various security risks and challenges, so as to contribute to building a closer community of shared future for China and Pakistan in the new era, Wei added.
