All resources will be utilized to ensure protection of Chinese investors: Planning Minister
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal stated that all available resources will be used to ensure that Chinese investments and businessmen are protected in the country. He told members of the Chamber of Commerce and notables in Gwadar that the current government values CPEC since it is the key to Pakistan’s success and prosperity. To develop the economy, Ahsan Iqbal promised that all available facilities will be offered to the merchant community on a priority basis. Earlier, the Planning Minister presided over a meeting in Gwadar to assess the progress of CPEC and other development projects. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Zhang Baozhong, Chairman of the China Overseas Ports Holding Company.

Talking to members of Chamber of Commerce and notables in Gwadar, he said the present government gives importance to China Pakistan Economic Corridor as this project is the key to progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Ahsan Iqbal assured that all possible facilities would be provided to the trader community on priority basis to strengthen the economy.
Earlier, the Planning Minister also presided over a meeting to review the pace of work on CPEC related and other development projects in Gwadar.
