Art show to mark 10th anniversary of BRI

The upcoming ‘Star Moon Road; China Pakistan Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition’ is all set to take place at the University of Education (UE) in partnership with Lahore Museum to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the China BRI starting from May 3. The exhibition will showcase a variety of art forms such as paintings, sculptures, installations, and digital art. The opening ceremony on May 3 is expected to be attended by prominent figures. During a recent meeting held at the university, Vice Chancellor Prof Talat Naseer Pasha expressed that the CPEC is China’s gift to the region and the University of Education’s initiative to host the China-Pakistan Exchange Art Exhibition demonstrates the institution’s appreciation for the friendly country.

The University of Education (UE) in partnership with Lahore Museum is all set to host a ‘Star Moon Road; China Pakistan Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition’ to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the China Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) from May 3.

The exhibition aims to foster cultural exchange and cooperation between Pakistan and China, and promote contemporary artworks from renowned Chinese and Pakistani artists, stated a press release issued on Monday.

The exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, installations and digital art, with an opening ceremony on May 3 that prominent figures are expected to attend.

In a meeting held at the university, Vice Chancellor Prof Talat Naseer Pasha instructed the heads of all committees to complete the arrangements promptly and ensure foolproof security in view of the arrival of foreign guests.

The VC emphasised that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is China’s gift to the region and the University of Education’s initiative to host the China-Pakistan Exchange Art Exhibition demonstrates the institution’s love for the friendly country.
