China and Pakistan aim for inclusive economic globalization and shared prosperity: Chinese DCM
China is committed to working with Pakistan to implement the consensus reached by their leaders, said Chinese Deputy Chief of Missions Shi Yuangqiang at a seminar in Islamabad. He praised Pakistan’s keenness to enhance commercial cooperation and highlighted the successes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), including renewable energy projects and a buffalo embryo lab. Shi emphasized the alignment of Pakistan’s “5Es” framework with China’s development goals and expressed readiness to advance CPEC Phase Two. He also defended China’s human rights record in Xinjiang, refuting Western accusations and highlighting the region’s progress and religious freedom. Awards were given to notable contributors to the Pak-China relationship.
