China emerged as a leading global power: PM Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded Chinese leadership and Pakistan-China bilateral strategic cooperative partnership. During his speech in the National Assembly (NA), PM said Pakistan’s relations with China have always been the most important of its relationships with other countries. Pakistan could learn much from Chinese unprecedented experience in socio-economic development. We are also seeking help from our Chinese friends in technology transfer in agriculture sector. Chinese leadership is in line with the Islamic version of a welfare state. It is commendable that China has lifted 700 million people out of poverty in 30 years. While praising China’s fast-growing economy, PM said China is emerging as a leading global power. PM praised meritocracy of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Chinese top leadership appointment including the Primer Li Keqiang and President is a demonstration of the meritocracy of CPC.
