China is a partner of Pakistan but never its teacher: Ambassador Yao Jing

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing said Pak-China relations are based on win-win cooperation and are mutually beneficial. During a webinar hosted by the Pakistan China Institute (PCI) in cooperation with LUMS Centre for Chinese Legal Studies, Ambassador Yao expressed astonishment over the US diplomat Alice Wells’ continued criticism of CPEC and China Pakistan relations. He said it is pity that the United States (US) is playing game on everything. The US has made various attempts to sabotage the CPEC and Pakistan China bilateral relations. The US has shown arrogance while responding to CPEC and China’s relations with any other state in Asia. Moreover, the US talks about peace and stability in South Asia but it did not make any positive effort to do justice with their statements pertaining to the regional peace and stability.

The baseless accusations about CPEC made by Alice Well are wrong. However, the US distortion of facts and arrogance would not affect the execution of CPEC as it is a chosen project and Pakistan and China are determined to take it further.
