China ready to synergize high-quality development under CPEC: Chinese FM spokesperson
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said that China is ready to better synergize development and strategy and advance high-quality development of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and build a corridor for digital and green developments. He also said that China and Pakistan are all-weather cooperative partners with profound and wide-ranging cooperation. The spokesperson hoped that Pakistan would create a safe and convenient environment for Chinese companies.
BEIJING, May 9 (APP):: Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Monday that China was ready to better synergize development and strategy and advance high-quality development of
China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and build a corridor for digital and green developments.
“We stand ready to better synergize our development and strategy and advance high-quality development of CPEC and build a corridor for digital development and green development,” he said during his regular briefing held here.
He said that China and Pakistan were all weather cooperative partners with profound and wide ranging cooperation.
“We will continue to help Pakistan to advances its industrialization, improve capability,” he added.
The spokesperson hoped that Pakistan would create a safe and convenient environment for Chinese companies.
Last week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif talking to Yi Xiang, Senior Vice President of telecommunications equipment company, Huawei, said foreign tech companies would be facilitated in all respects with regard to investment and expansion.
“The current government intends to increase the IT exports of Pakistan from US$1.5 billion to US$15 billion in the coming year,” he added.
The prime minister expressed satisfaction over Huawei’s long association with Pakistan and investments in the telecom sector.
