China sends army medical experts and aid to Pakistan to help combat the COVID-19
The Chinese leadership is firmly committed to support Pakistan in combating COVID-19 as the highest priority. In order to help Pakistan for better prevention and control of the epidemic, China has sent a team of military medical experts adept in treating infectious diseases and essential medical supplies to Pakistan. The medical experts will stay in Pakistan for two months in order to facilitate the health professionals fighting COVID-10 on the frontline.
In addition to that, Chinese provincial administrations came forward and presented medical aid to Punjab and Balochistan. The supplies included 200,000 medical surgical masks and other epidemic prevention materials. Amid China’s ongoing medical assistance, the finance minister of Quetta thanked China for sending the gift of ration and solar panels for Gwadar district. Moreover, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying personal protective equipment has taken off from Beijing.
All of this proves once again that China and Pakistan are true friends and stand shoulder to shoulder in the challenging time.
