China sends more medical supplies to Pakistan to fight COVID-19

China’s continued support to Pakistan, on government and private level, to control and prevent the COVID-19, is a testimony of the two countries’ true friendship. China has donated more medical goods to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan. A special plane of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) carrying procured and donated medical supplies including 24 X-ray machines and parts, 371,000 virus collection tubes (VTMs) for testing and one million masks of various nature for COVID-19 patients have arrived in Islamabad. The NDMA official has informed that it is the 6th consignment of medical supplies arrived from China.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi thanked Antaifu Yuan Safety Equipment Manufacturing Company for generous PPEs donation to fight COVID19 in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD – An aircraft carrying 17 tonnes important medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) arrived here on Sunday from China. A spokesman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said the aircraft, sixth in a series of consignments, has arrived Islamabad from Beijing. The equipment included 24 X-ray machines and parts, 371,000 virus collection tubes (VTMs) for testing and one million masks of various nature for COVID-19 patients. The safety equipment procured from China was being transported to Pakistan by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircrafts.
