China to set up a smartphone manufacturing plant in Pakistan
China and Pakistan have signed an agreement under which Chinese companies will jointly set up the first smartphone manufacturing plant at M3 Industrial Estate in Faisalabad. The agreement was finalized at Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC). Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal was also present. The dream of technology transfer is finally being realized after which, Pakistan will move towards an export-oriented economy.
