China’s development a model for Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Muzzamil Aslam
At a ceremony in Peshawar marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Muzzamil Aslam praised China’s economic development as a model for Pakistan, highlighting effective planning, human resource development, technology, industrialisation and policy continuity. He said Pakistan should learn from China’s experience in turning natural and human resources into sustainable economic growth, while describing CPEC as a key platform for connectivity, industrialisation, trade and regional development. Speakers also called for greater Chinese investment in KP’s minerals, energy, tourism, agriculture and IT sectors, and emphasised expanding Pakistan-China cooperation in business, education, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
