Chinese companies provide medical assistance to Pakistan to fight against COVID-19
In addition to the state-level support, Chinese companies stepped in to help Pakistan in this difficult time. All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association has provided medical supplies to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and presented a cheque of Rs4.1 million to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to fight against COVID-19.
Chinese Minister Council for Trade in Pakistan has expressed gratitude for Pakistani government and nation’s support to China amid pandemic outbreak and said China stands in solidarity with Pakistan in difficult time. The executive director PIMS Dr. Ansar Maqsood appreciated Chinese companies for their support.
On the other hand, the Gwadar East-Bay Expressway Project in collaboration with China Overseas Ports Holding Company and Chinese Red Cross medical team in Gwadar has donated medical supplies to GDA Hospital in the fight against COVID-19.
