Chinese experts to visit Pakistan soon
A delegation of Chinese experts will visit Pakistan at the end of this month to promote innovation, technology transfer, and capacity building. In preparation, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad, as directed by the Prime Minister. Senior officials from federal ministries and sector heads participated, emphasizing the collaboration’s significance. Iqbal instructed the ministries to create a detailed roadmap to leverage the visit, focusing on training and knowledge sharing, learning from China’s innovation and technological advancements, and adapting these solutions to Pakistan’s needs. The approach will be strategic, targeting areas where China’s expertise can most benefit Pakistani professionals.

The focus will be on capacity building of Pakistani experts through training and knowledge sharing, learning from China’s experience in innovation and technological advancements, adapting innovative solutions to Pakistan’s specific needs, and skill development in key sectors.
The Minister directed the line ministries to be selective and strategic, focusing on areas where China has significant experience that could be shared with Pakistani professionals.
