Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson appreciates President Alvi’s remarks about Beijing Winter Olympic 2022
During a press briefing, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Zhao Lijian appreciated President Dr. Arif Alvi’s remarks about Beijing Winter Olympic Games. He said that President Alvi’s remarks highlighted the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and ironclad brotherhood between the two countries. Earlier, President Dr. Alvi appreciated the China-Pakistan relations in an interview and spoke highly of the preparatory work for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. In addition, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that CPEC has made positive progress, bucking the general trend during the pandemic, while effectively promoting Pakistan’s economic development and improving people’s livelihoods, an outcome that has been welcomed by the people in Pakistan.

He noted that President Dr Alvi highly appreciated China-Pakistan relations in an interview and spoke highly of the preparatory work for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Zhao Lijian said President Alvi unequivocally opposed the politicization of sports and called on the whole world to share the great event of the Winter Olympic Games.
