She emphasized that the Pak-China relationship transcends traditional diplomatic and defense ties, describing it as a “bond of hearts.”
Highlighting the strength of bilateral defense cooperation, Maryam Nawaz said, “The collaboration between Pakistan and China’s armed forces stands as a glowing symbol of our everlasting friendship.” She praised the PLA’s professionalism, modern military strategy, and unwavering spirit of national service, calling it “exemplary and inspiring.”
The chief minister noted that mutual trust, joint training programs, and enhanced defense cooperation have significantly strengthened military-to-military relations over time. “This enduring partnership has grown deeper with each passing year,” she remarked. Maryam Nawaz also reaffirmed Punjab’s commitment to expanding joint ventures with China in key sectors including industrial development, agriculture, environment, and education. “We are fully dedicated to fostering long-term, people-centered collaboration with our Chinese friends,” she said.
