COAS Asim Munir visits NCTC, reviews Pak-China joint exercise Warrior-VIII
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi, to observe the ongoing Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII. He was briefed on the exercise, which focuses on counter-terrorism and began on November 19, 2024. During his visit, the COAS interacted with participants, commended their professionalism and high morale, and emphasized the significance of the annual bilateral exercise series. He was received at the NCTC by Commander Rawalpindi Corps.
RAWALPINDI: General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi, on Friday and interacted with the participants of Exercise Warrior-VIII between Pakistan Army and the Peoples Liberation Army of China.
Gen Munir was briefed on the scope and conduct of the exercise and interacted with participants of the exercise, said an Inter-Services Public Relations news release.
He appreciated the professionalism and high morale of participants being displayed during the joint exercise. The Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII commenced on November 19, 2024. The three-week-long exercise in the Counter Terrorism domain is the 8th in a series of bilateral exercises being conducted annually. Earlier upon arrival at NCTC Pabbi, the COAS was received by Commander Rawalpindi Corps.
