CPEC ensures regional economic development: Governor Balochistan
In conversation with UN High Commissioner for Afghan Refugees Flippo Grand, the Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan underlined that the completion of CPEC would stimulate the economic development of whole region.
QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that after completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor the entire region will become a hub of economic activities.
“Economic development and prosperity are linked with durable peace and Pakistan is playing an important role in promoting peace and stability in the region,” he said while talking to UN High Commissioner for Afghan Refugees Flippo Grandi. He said UNHCR’s role in providing educational, health and other facilities to the Afghan refugees and people of other affected areas was commendable.
The UN high commissioner thanked Pakistan for hosting the Afghan refugees.
