CPEC Investment conference to be held on November 25
Pakistan’s Board of Investment (BOI) will organize The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Industrial Cooperation Business to Business (B2B) Investment Conference on November 25 in Peshawar in collaboration with the KPBOIT. It would focus on CPEC priority sectors to facilitate cooperation and linkages between Pakistani and foreign businessmen. Moreover, it would also focus on academia, tourism, food processing, mines and minerals, and construction as well as exhibiting KP’s potential in different sectors, including ready to launch projects for JVs and B2B cooperation.
ISLAMABAD: The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Industrial Cooperation Business to Business (B2B) Investment Conference will be organised by Pakistan’s Board of Investment (BOI) on November 25.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the conference will be held in In Peshawar in collaboration with the KPBOIT.
CPEC Industrial Cooperation Project Management Unit (PMU) Project Director of BOI Asim Ayub said that the B2B investment conference would focus on CPEC priority sectors to facilitate cooperation and linkages between Pakistani and foreign businessmen.
He added that the conference also focused on academia, tourism, food processing, mines and minerals, and construction as well as exhibiting KP’s potential in different sectors, including ready to launch projects for JVs and B2B cooperation.
Further, the PMU project director said that the government would also explore possibilities of the Chinese industries relocating into Pakistan by addressing issues faced by Chinese enterprises in the country.
Over 250 participants would be selected for the conference based on the themes of the conference and keenness to invest in Pakistan.
Video conference options would also be made available for those who cannot physically attend the event.
