CPEC is embodiment of unparalleled friendship between Pakistan and China: Vice-Chairman CPPCC Jiangxi Province

Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri talking to Vice-Chairman of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of China, Chen Junqing expressed views that Sino-Pak impeccable friendship has strong roots in mutual respect, trust and strategic partnership. He acknowledged Chinese support on multiple fronts and told Vice-Chairman that Pakistan takes honour in its close and rare companionship with China. Vice-Chairman Chen Junqing on occasion said Pakistan-China friendship would overcome every challenge and that CPEC was the true manifestation of their unparallel amity. The visit is aimed to explore new pathways to bolster bilateral cooperation between Jiangxi Province and Pakistan, Chen added.

ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 (APP):Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri Wednesday said that the exemplary friendship between Pakistan and China was based on a strong foundation of mutual respect, trust and strategic partnership.

He said that Pakistan was proud of its unique friendship with China, said a press release issue here.

He expressed these views while talking Chinese delegation led by Vice Chairman of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the People’s Political Consultative Conference of China, Chen Junqing, which called on him at Parliament House.

The Deputy Speaker said that China had always been supportive of Pakistan’s stance on all issue, including Kashmir on regional and international forums.

He said that India had turned the occupied valley into an open air jail confining millions of innocent Kashmiri people. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan raised the issue of Kashmir in the UN General Assembly, which was fully endorsed by China.

He said that the close cooperation between the two brotherly countries was vital to the region’s peace and development.

The Deputy Speaker said that China’s rapid development was an example to the world.

He said that China’s development was the result of hard work of its nation and sincere timely decisions of its sagacious leadership.

He said that the present Pakistan government was striving for eliminating poverty from the country and welfare of the common man.

He mentioned the Pak-China Economic Corridor projects, saying that the CPEC was a game-changer for the development of the entire region and the government of Pakistan had taken initiatives on a priority basis for early completion of the project.

He appreciated China’s cooperation for Pakistan’s economic and social development. He said that increasing parliamentary ties could play an important role in further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

He invited Chinese investors to invest in Pakistan and benefit from investment opportunities in the manufacturing, power, tourism, mineral exploration and agriculture sectors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of People’s Political Consultation Conference of China, Jiangxi Province, China, Chen Junqing said that the relations between China and Pakistan were of a unique nature which had always successfully passed every trial.

He said that the two countries had supported each other in difficult times and their bilateral relations had strengthened.

He said that the CPEC project was a reflection of the unmatched friendship between the two countries and was part of the Chinese President’s One Belt One Road initiative.

He said that the recent visit of the delegation of the Provincial Committee of the People’s Political Consultation Conference of China aimed at finding new avenues for further bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

He also invited the Deputy Speaker to visit China. Later, the delegation also visited the National Assembly Hall.
