KPK government is making efforts to revive its position as a vital pillar for regional trade and commercial endeavours under the ancient silk route. Prominent CPEC projects in KP province, for instance, Suki Kinari hydel project, Raskaki SEZ, Havelian-Thakot Motorway, the newly recommended Swat Expressway II, DI Khan to Peshawar Expressway and the Havelian dry port as part of ML-I project will turbo-charge industrialisation and economic prosperity in the province. KP is also going to conduct its Second trade fair in Beijing in 2020 to entice Chinese enterprises for Joint Ventures.
