CPEC phase-II to focus on industrialization, agriculture, and socioeconomic development: Shibli Faraz

While addressing to National seminar on “CPEC: Challenges & Opportunities”, Shibli Faraz, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting termed CPEC as a catalyst for the socio-economic development of Pakistan. The CPEC, he said, has made remarkable progress in its first phase. The majority of the projects planned in the transportation, infrastructure, and energy sectors have been carried out successfully and many are in the execution stage. Moreover, he said that CPEC’s second phase will focus on industrialization, agriculture, and socioeconomic development.
