CPEC projects moving ahead with full speed says Bajwa

During a high-level meeting presided by CM Balochistan Jam Kamal to review progress on CPEC projects, CPEC Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa briefed the CM regarding progress on CPEC projects and said that all projects are moving ahead with renewed vigour. Moreover, he said that 23 CPEC projects related to energy, road infrastructure, industrial cooperation, social and economic development and Gwadar development have been formulated out of which a 1,320-megawatt coal-fired power plant project has been completed in Hub whereas the Gwadar smart port city masterplan project has also been completed.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Tuesday presided over a high-level meeting in connection with the progress of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in Balochistan.

CPEC Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa gave a detailed briefing on the CPEC projects being carried out in the province.

The meeting was informed that 23 projects related to energy, road infrastructure, industrial cooperation, social and economic development and Gwadar development have been formulated out of which a 1,320 megawatt coal-fired power plant project has been completed in Hub whereas the Gwadar smart port city masterplan project has also been completed.
