CPEC synergizing regional industrial transformation: Asim Ayub
Asim Ayub, Project Director Industrial Cooperation of BOI said that CPEC is the gateway to regional connectivity and industrial transformation, during his keynote address at the International Silk Road Summit organized by the SDGs Academy at Malam Jabba. He stated that the SDGs Academy is doing a wonderful job in enhancing Pakistan’s business ties. He added that in 2016 the two countries agreed to launch 9 SEZs. He added that CPEC Industrial Cooperation is a long term project and is open to third-party cooperation. He highlighted that the covid-19 pandemic has redefined regional connectivity, and CPEC under BRI is playing a unique role of bringing economies together.
